Kajabi to Mighty Networks Transition

As of September 2020, The Land Geek has decided to move the Land Geek Training Library from Kajabi to Mighty Networks. With this move, we need to transition our 8,000 some customers who use the Kajabi platform to Mighty Networks. We will help our current customers transition in a number of ways. 

1. Send an email to every current student with class links so they can gain immediate access to their courses in Mighty Networks. 
2. We will post an announcement in each course in Kajabi with an invite link to gain access to the course in Mighty Networks. 
3. For any customers who write into support about the transition, customer support will invite customers to the correct courses in Mighty Networks.

Please read below to learn more details about this transition and how you can best support our customers through this transition. 

Transitioned Classes

While we re-created most classes in Kajabi to the Mighty Networks platform, some classes were modified or were not transitioned at all. Please see a complete list of classes and changes. 

Email Announcement

We will send an email announcement to all customers who have access to a course in Kajabi. The email announcement will be sent in 20 segments, with each segment getting access to a specific set of courses that *closely matches what they have access to in Kajabi. 

We will send an email announcement to a small segment of customers on 9/21/20 to ensure the transition goes smoothly (126 customers), and then we will send the email announcement to everyone one else on 9/23/20. 

*Some students will be granted additional courses that we've added as freebies, some students will be missing access to a course, and some students will have courses that did not transfer to Mighty Networks. This approach should cover a majority of our customers and their course list, but some may write in with questions and require access to specific courses. 

The customer simply needs to click each link in the email to gain access to the course. If they do not already have a Mighty Networks account with our community, then they will need to create an account first.

No longer do you have to jump from platform to platform like a French parkour athlete.  Now, we’ve got the Investors Toolkit, Flight School and all the other trainings in one place you’re all familiar with Mighty Networks. 

If you feel like dancing or singing after experiencing the simplicity of this improvement you do you. After I tested it I wrote a simple Haiku.

In addition to doing an email announcement to our customers, we will also post an announcement on each Kajabi course with a direct link to the new course. The announcements in Kajabi will be posted shortly after the email blast is sent out on Wednesday 9/23/20.

Customer Support

Our last line of defense if a customer is having trouble getting transitioned over to Mighty Networks is for customer support to manually invite them to their courses. Most often the process will go as such: 

1. Look up the customer in Kajabi. (Alternatively, after we shut Kajabi down, you can look up their courses here.)
   1. Login to Kajabi
   2. Tap People
   3. Search for the customer using their email address. 
2. Assess what courses have been offered to them in Kajabi. 
3. Invite the customer to the matching courses in Mighty Networks (See Invite to Course in Mighty Networks under Procedures to Know)

To make things easier on you, I have invited you to each of these courses on our new platform, Mighty Networks. 

You should receive an email for each course in your inbox. Be on the lookout for an email from Mark at thelandgeek@mn.co inviting you to join each class. Look for an email titled 'Your invitation to join me in..."

Tap "Join Me" in each email invite sent to you. If you haven't already, you'll first need to create a login to join us in the Land Geek community on Mighty Networks, which you'll be prompted to do from the email invite. 

Once you've accepted the invite from each email, just tap "Courses" from the lefthand menu to see what's available to you.
