Unsubscribe From Email List
Overview
We use Aweber to manage our email lists. Customers can end up on our mailing lists for a variety of reasons. Examples include:
- Purchase of a Land Geek product, like Investor's Toolkit, Flight School, etc.
- Signing up for a free course like Wholetailing or Passive Launch Kit
- Registering and/or attending Bootcamp
- And more!
We have several active mailing lists we use to communicate with our customer list and a customer can be subscribed to more than one.
Customers can self unsubscribe from our mailing list. At the bottom of every email sent from Aweber, there are two links that will help the customer manage their email preferences. They are Unsubscribe and Manage Preferences. Both will allow the customer to unsubscribe from the mailing list the email was sent to.
Note: If they self-unsubscribe using the email links, it will only unsubscribe them from the current list. Not all lists.
When a customer approaches us to unsubscribe them, then we will go into Aweber manually and unsubscribe them. (See How to Unsubscribe from Aweber in Procedures to Know).
Unsubscribe Example
In this example, the customer wants to subscribe from all of our emails. We will need to unsubscribe them manually and confirm when they should see this effect take change. (See How to Unsubscribe from Aweber in Procedures to Know)

Unsubscribe from Aweber
Note: If you do not have access to Aweber for The Land Geek, please forward the customer inquiry to Rossi@thelandgeek.com for handling.
- Login to Aweber
- From the dashboard, scroll down to List Stats
- In the search bar, search the customer's email address. Be sure to select Search All Lists.
- Tap the checkbox next to every list the customer is subscribed to.
- Tap Unsubscribe.
