The Deed or Purchase Agreement says the wrong consideration

LGPass was designed to support the correct deed language or real estate law.

There is a lot of history into why some deeds list the price paid and others list $1.00 or $10.00, however, the amount listed is correct based on the state.

Here is one explanation of why it's done this way: https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/311/topics/237533-dollar-abount-on-deed-is-10

This field on the deed is generated by the consideration field on the closing tab. If you have the consideration set to a price like $10,000 and the deed still prints $1 or $10, that is coded into the deed based on the deed requirements of the state and it cannot be changed.
