# Deed does not populate correctly

If your deed is not populating correctly, this is likely because you either omitted data from a required field or have other data populating that filed. This is a TYPICAL deed template, notice that the fields are noted in brackets.

**Closing Deed**

This is a deed used to purchase land

Fields used to populate a closing deed:

*From the Organization record:*

- Primary Contact Name
- Organization Name
- Organization Address
- Organization City
- Organization State
- Organization Zip
- Organization [Deed Titling](https://lgpass.malcolm.app/faqs/what-is-deed-titling) (used as the grantee)

*From the Mailing record:*

- APN
- Property County

*From the Due Diligence record:*

- Recorder Legal Owner (used as the grantor)
- Legal Description

*From the Closing Record:*

- [Consideration](https://lgpass.malcolm.app/faqs/the-consideration-is-not-printing-on-the-deed)
- Seller 1 Deed Name
- Seller 1 Address
- Seller 2 Deed Name
- Seller 2 Address

*From the Organization record:*

- Primary Contact Name
- Organization Name
- Organization Address
- Organization City
- Organization State
- Organization Zip
- Organization [Deed Titling](https://lgpass.malcolm.app/faqs/what-is-deed-titling) (used as the grantor)

*From the Mailing record:*

- APN
- Property County

*From the Due Diligence record:*

- Legal Description

*From the Sales Record:*

- Purchase Amount (used as the [Consideration](https://lgpass.malcolm.app/faqs/the-consideration-is-not-printing-on-the-deed))
- Buyer Deed Titling
- Buyer 1 full name
- Buyer 1 Address

Remember: Every state has different deed requirements, so your state may not look like this and might have other fields, however, that is rare.
