Do any of the counties negotiate or are they typically firm on wanting the back tax money owed? From Scott Todd: Counties do not negotiate; there is no reason to. Unless your list tells you the taxes dues, you should not be looking them up before mailing. Doing so requires too much research, just mail and IF they respond with an offer, then look up the taxes as part of DD. Then negotiate with the seller.
